Join us for this pivotal Vaccine Symposium hosted over 3 days by the Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold-Chain (ACES) in collaboration with the Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC), the University of Birmingham (UoB), the Clean Cooling Network, and partners. 

Delve into 3 days of strategies for enhancing vaccine equity, climate resilience, and cross-sectoral research in cold-chain management. Join us at the ACES Rubirizi Campus, Kigali, from 17th to 19th November.

Event details

This event will convene leading scientists, researchers, policymakers, and industry experts to explore cutting-edge advancements in resilient, climate-friendly vaccine cold-chain systems, fostering scientific innovation and collaboration across Africa.

  • Day 1 (17th November): Opening remarks, keynote speeches, and presentations on vaccine supply chain data, economics, immune diagnostics, cold-chain systems, clinical trials, and drone applications in healthcare.
  • Day 2 (18th November): Presentations on ACES operations, vaccine logistics, environmental testing, AI in antimicrobial resistance, followed by closing remarks.
  • Day 3 (19th November): Optional field visit with selective seats to the Zipline site in Muhanga for a hands-on drone technology demonstration and facility tour.
