Analysis, implementation and compliance toolkits

The Clean Cooling Network develops sophisticated models and toolkits for analysing cold-chain requirements, implementation recommendations and strategies, on both a national and local level.

Both quantitative and qualitative data will be used to support Governments to understand the strategic importance of cold-chain as critical infrastructure.

National Landscape Cooling Needs Assessment

The National Landscape Cooling Needs Assessment tool has been developed by the Centre for Sustainable Cooling in collaboration with academic partners across the UK, EU, Africa and India.

The system-of-systems approach to cooling and cold-chain provision necessarily starts with a comprehensive understanding of the need. This extensive experience has informed the development of a refined process for undertaking national and community-level cooling and cold-chain assessments.

Community Cooling Needs Assessment

The Community Cooling Needs Assessment tool has been developed by the Centre for Sustainable Cooling (CSC) in collaboration with academic partners across the UK, EU, Africa and India.

The CSC has led the development and implementation of multiple cooling and cold-chain needs assessments building substantial expertise in this area. This extensive has informed the development of a refined process for undertaking national and community-level cooling and cold-chain assessments.

Join The Clean Cooling Community of Practice for Mapping the food system - Towards efficient post-harvest management.

It explores the fresh produce supply chain, identifying the most critical loss points, and aims to develop strategic interventions to mitigate these inefficiencies.

The CoP is led by Dr. Carol Verheecke-Vaessen and Dr. Tobi Fadiji at Cranfield University.
