Sustainable Cold-Chain For The Global South 2025

A Cool World

Entrepreneurs at ACES Festival of Cooling

At the Clean Cooling Network (CCN), our mission is to accelerate the delivery of fully integrated, affordable, sustainable, resilient, and inclusive cooling and cold-chains across the developing world - harnessing them to improve food resilience, health, environmental, and economic outcomes, while connecting research, investment, and innovation to strengthen resilience, equity, and opportunity across Africa and the Global South.

Through the Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold-Chain (ACES) in Kigali, together with our SPOKE network and online CCN platform, we are now entering a phase of decisive operations - turning design into delivery and driving fast, sustainable, and scalable impact.

To achieve this, we aim to be a central and valued player in driving the development of Africa’s cold-chain and cooling sector, creating approaches and solutions that can be referenced, replicated, and adapted globally to strengthen climate resilience and equitable growth.
