Position Overview
As our Strategic Communications and Media Manager, you will be a strategic storyteller with a passion for driving impact; securing investment and building engagement . You can help us share the story of innovation, opportunity, and engagement as we work together to advance cooling and cold-chain solutions that benefit communities and environment worldwide..
You will lead the development and execution of our communications strategy. Your work will help secure investment and funding by showcasing our impact and the transformative potential of sustainable cooling solutions. You will craft powerful stories and messages that highlight successes and impacts, project strengths, and key achievements, inspiring confidence and support from donors, investors, and partners. Your ability to write in a clear, concise, and compelling manner across multiple channels is essential -raising awareness, shaping policy, and building a global movement to expand clean cooling and cold-chain access. Your efforts will directly contribute to unlocking financial resources and mobilising action toward our shared vision.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that enhances visibility, attracts student, promotes impact, and supports fundraising efforts.
- Create persuasive, high-quality content - including impact reports, case studies, press releases, social media updates, and multimedia narratives—that clearly demonstrates our successes and potential.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, donors, and investors by pitching stories that drive awareness and attract funding.
- Manage digital platforms, including social media, website, and email campaigns, to engage supporters and present compelling evidence of our work’s impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to craft consistent messaging for campaigns focused on investment promotion and impact storytelling.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on engagement metrics, using insights to refine strategies and maximise outreach and fundraising success.
- Organise media events, stakeholder briefings, and webinars to communicate our achievements and foster further support and investment.
- Develop materials tailored to key funding audiences, including investor briefs, proposals, and impact visuals, to support fundraising campaigns.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience and track-record in strategic communications, media relations, or public relations, investor communications particularly within environmental, climate, energy, or development sectors.
- Exceptional ability to write in a clear, concise, and compelling manner—translating complex concepts into engaging stories that inspire action.
- Strong experience in managing digital platforms, creating multimedia content, and leading campaigns that drive engagement and funding interest.
- Demonstrated success in securing support, funding, or investment through strategic storytelling, business presentation and impact promotion.
- Knowledge of the funding landscape, including donor engagement, fundraising strategies, and investor relations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with media, stakeholders, and funding partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines.
Qualifications may include a degree or a Master’s in Communications, Journalism, Environmental Studies, International Development, or a related field.
